A Joyful Tune (private collection)

Sum: Music soothes the soul… I created this sculpture as a response and respite from covid. I intentionally made him larger than life for greater emotional impact.

Parts: oil tank, heat cover, truck springs, saw blades, pipe fittings, chains, horse shoes, glass door knobs (eyes)

Fiddler Crab (private collection)

Sum: A literal interpretation of the fiddler crab inspired by a nature documentary. The fiddler crab gets its name from the motion the males make with their over-sized claw during the mating ritual. The animal kingdom is an endless source of conception.

Parts: wheel barrow, picks, shovels, c-clamps, dust pans, glass marbles (eyes)

Wind RIder (private collection)

Sum: After years of accumulating parts with the same degree of aging, this deeply personal sculpture, the eagle (which happens to be my spirit animal) came into being.

parts: machetes, saw blades, rebar, 72 w x 36 h x 10 d"
